Finish-A-Long with Rhondas Ramblings 2017

Hello my name is Deanna Bishop. I live in Grants Pass, Oregon. This is my first time doing a Finish a long and I hope that by participating in this one I will finish the many UFO's I have accumulated over the years. For my blog EVERY DAY IS A GIFT , I am only setting a goal of 7 projects to finish. I am ashamed to say how many UFO's I actually have so for now I will ONLY admit to these 7.

This just needs backing and batting and binding. I plan tying it with pink embroidery thread.

This one also just needs to have backing and batting and the binding. I will tie it with both blue and gray embroidery thread.

Isnt this star pretty. I love the lightness of the star and small border. Again this will be tied. I do want to make it much bigger but am not sure on what I will do with it just yet.

Such a simple and easy block. I will also tie this one with embroidery thread. Needs a border or two, backing and binding.

Blues, purples and floral blocks just makes this quilt top look so pretty. Again it needs a back, binding and batting and will be tied as well.

And the same thing using the same rectangle patterns.

Blue and white blocks with a white border.

My goal in this Finish a long is to get all 7 of these quilts finished. Some still need borders to make them bigger and some already have borders. They all need to have batting and backings and the binding done on them and they all will get tied with complimentary colors of embroidery thread.

When I have completed these 7 baby quilts I am going to donate them to our local Project Linus Guild in Grants Pass, Oregon.

  1. So many pretty projects! A totally doable list, you can get it done for sure! Thanks for linking up with the FAL, on behalf of the 2017 global hosts.

I'm going to look up "Project Linus" now. Sounds like a really great idea :)
